On December 4, 2007, Chip and Shannon Wilson, founders of world-renowned Vancouver-based lululemon athetica challenged individuals and the corporate community interested in making a difference in health care, to match their donation of $100,000 and become founding donors of the InspireHealth Legacy Foundation.
The Wilsons believe InspireHealth's approach makes the organization an ideal vehicle to optimize their donation. "To shift the definition of health care and to fundamentally affect health care costs, a new paradigm is required," stated Chip Wilson. "We are making this contribution in the name of all lululemon customers who have helped us in our lives."
The Wilsons, long time supporters of InspireHealth, are committed to healthy lifestyle changes. For over six years, the Wilson's have supported InspireHealth by sponsoring the annual summer-time fundraising garden party, the lululemon Flip Flop Soiree, one of Vancouver's premiere fundraising events.
